The Program:

Abstract: The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) conducts monitoring and management of inland fisheries throughout the state. CDFW’s South Coast Region which includes Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties will be the focus of this talk. Recent surveys have shown some positive developments while drought and wildfires have proven detrimental. Highlights will include recent translocations, drought monitoring, fire impacts, angler survey box data summaries, and invasive species removal.

This presentation will be broad and will cover non-game species as well as rainbow trout work.
